Don’t worry, Sari! is an over 30 year-long chronicle of a family and Hungarian society, touching on social taboos such as mental health, the changing role of women in Eastern Europe, coping with loss, managing family dynamics, and transgenerational heritage.
The first person singular narrative is of the filmmaker, Sari, whose therapy sessions come to life through the vast family archive recorded since the eighties, situative scenes filmed in the last 4 years, voice recorded dreams, and voice messages that the family members have been sending to each other.
